Course Contents

  • Chapter 1. Frequencies of genes and genotypes in large populations.
  • Chapter 2 Changes in the frequencies of genotypes by systemic processes.
  • Chapter 3. Small populations.
  • Chapter 4. Other modifications of the ideal population.
  • Chapter 5. Genealogical trees and kinship coefficient.
  • Chapter 6. The continuous characteristics.
  • Chapter 7. The phenotypic deviation of the characteristics.
  • Chapter 8. The similarity between relatives.
  • Exercises on the material of the above 8 chapters.

Educational Goals

It aims to learn about changes in allele gene frequencies within the population, the effects of selection pressure, the effects of immigration, and the rate calculations and practices of genetic improvement of species.
